Periodically, new releases of the language in which MOM is written are released. It is necessary to remain more or less current with the language and doing so requires the new DataBase Runtime Module be supplied to all users and a charge will be made for this. This is not a frequent event, so far in the history of MOM it has happened thrice, in 1989, 1994 and 1999.
